Phil Nelson served a stint in Brazil for the Peace Corps and after a career in the
property-casualty insurance industry, he retired in 2003 and the idea for a book grew
during the ensuing seven years. In that period, after reading dozens of books and other
publications – and trips to NARA in College Park, Maryland, and the LBJ Library in
Austin, Texas – his first book, LBJ: The Mastermind of the JFK Assassination was first
published by Xlibris in 2010. That book traced Johnson’s entire criminal career,
including his presidential years. A revised and shortened edition was published in 2011 by Skyhorse Publishing. Then a “sequel,” LBJ: From Mastermind to The Colossus was published in 2014, which focused primarily on Johnson’s tumultuous reign as president and included much of the material that had been removed from the first edition. His third book, Remember the Liberty! – Almost Sunk by Treason on the High Seas, was published in 2017, the fiftieth anniversary of the June 8, 1967, Israeli attack. His fourth book, Who Killed Martin Luther King? The Case Against Lyndon B.Johnson and J. Edgar Hoover is a reexamination of the original government case against James Earl Ray. Within his website/blog, “LBJ The Master of Deceit” Nelson has continued documenting numerous other reasons – including murders of other men whom
Johnson believed had crossed him, or feared they would expose his true nature.
Nelson has presented new evidence that leads, arguably, to his involvement in the
murders of Adlai Stevenson (1965), Australian Prime Minister Harold Holt (1967), and
finally both Robert F. Kennedy and Thomas Merton. All of them he most likely used
the services of the CIA in 1968 to accomplish those goals. Nelson and Don Jeffries discuss his fascinating research, concentrating heavily on LBJ and JFK.

Marshall Terrill is America’s foremost historian-author on Steve McQueen, having published seven books about McQueen’s life, which resulted in the 2017 feature documentary entitled “Steve McQueen American Icon.” His 2010 book “Steve McQueen: The Life and Legend of a Hollywood Icon” has been optioned for a dramatic series. In 2022, he launched True Tales of the Southwest, LLC, a documentary production company, with two other partners. Their first endeavor is a docuseries on a serial killer from the 1960s. Terrill’s other books include biographies of country music legend Johnny Cash; Pete Maravich, one of the greatest basketball players in NCAA history; Ruth Pointer of the Pointer Sisters; Ken Norton, former heavyweight champion of the world, and three books on Elvis Presley. Terrill has written a total of 30 books in all.
Terrill and Don Jeffries primarily discussed his latest book, “Lennon, Dylan, Alice & Jesus” written by evangelist Greg Laurie, which examines the Christian faith of rock stars.

Actress Sally Kirkland has been in an astounding 220 films. Her mother was the fashion editor at Vogue and LIFE magazine, and friends with the likes of Jacqueline Kennedy, whom Sally would later portray in a play. Sally began her career on the off-Broadway circuit and trained under legendary acting coach Lee Strasberg. Her career in film, TV, and theater began in the 1960’s and her first director was Andy Warhol. Sally is probably best known for the film “Anna,” for which she garnered the Best Actress Oscar nomination and won the Best Actress Golden Globe, the Independent Spirit Award, and the LA Film Critic’s Circle Award.
In 1968 she became the first nude actress on stage. Her 220 films “The Sting,” “The Way We Were,” “Coming Apart,” “Cold Feet,” “Best of the Best,” “Revenge,” “JFK,” “ED TV,” “Bruce Almighty”, “Coffee Date” and “Archaeology of a Woman”.
In the past couple of years she has starred in “Buddy Solitaire”, “Gnaw” and “The Most Hated Woman in America” co-starring with Melissa Leo and Peter Fonda. And coming out soon, she has starred in “Sarah Q”, “Cuck”, “Invincible” and “The Talking Tree”.
Her television credits include: guest starring on “Criminal Minds,” recurring on “Head Case” and “the Simple Life.” Sally had a recurring role on “Felicity”. She starred on the NBC movie, “Brave New World.”
She had a recurring role as Barbara Healy in the original “Roseanne” series. She starred in the TV movie, “Heatwave” and recurred as Tracy on “Days of Our Lives.”
Sally is also an exhibited painter, poet, renowned acting coach and ordained minister in the Church of The Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness (MSIA).
Don Jeffries and Sally talk about her fabulous career, including how she came to play Rose Cherami in Oliver Stone’s “JFK,” her relationship with Bob Dylan, friendship with people like Robert DeNiro, and her legendary parties in Hollywood.
